The King of Bunnybury was once a normal white rabbit, but when Glinda created the city of Bunnybury, she appointed him king.

He eventually grew tired of ruling Bunnybury, wishing for Dorothy to ask Glinda to appoint a new king; however, Dorothy managed to convince the king of all the nice things he would lack if he was no longer king, thus changing his mind.
