Eddie Corcoran is a classmate of the Losers Club. He and his younger brother, Dorsey, are victims of abuse at the hands of their step-father, Richard Macklin.

Some time after his step-father kills Dorsey, Eddie runs away from home, where his encounters IT, who attacks and kills him in the form of the Gill-man.
