Howard Rimmer is one of [character:g2Q3nomEEeaAugAeyeRIgw]'s older brothers. Like his siblings, he was pushed by their supposed father into joining the Space Corps; however, like Arnold, he only attainted the rank of technician, acting as a vending machine repair man before he died and was returned as a hologram. The hologram Howard later gave his second life saving the crew of the Red Dwarf from a rogue simulant onboard the Trojan.
