Abban Haman is one of the most powerful people in Krasia. At a young age, he was conscripted into the Krasian army.

During his training, he was seriously injured, crippling one of his legs. This led to his being treated as an outcast. In order to overcome this, he focuses on building his intellectual skills, teaching languages, and eventually taking charge of the financials of Krasia.

He is responsible for having taught Arlen the Krasian language, and having taught Jardir the Thesan language. He is also known to be ruthless to those that wrong him or his family.
