Raymond Electromatic

Raymond Electromatic (sometimes called "Raymondo") was a robot private investigator with a 24-hour memory limit. During his downtime, during which he is led to believe he is backing up and recharging, his assistant, Googol, leverages him as a hit-man.

He eventually discovers this while reviewing old tapes. It is then that he decides to go to their creator, Professor Thornton, to report the corruption of Googol.

In the end, however, Googol manages to sway him to her point of view, leading him to shoot Thornton dead.

Raymond is most likely named after Raymond Chandler, a writer of influential crime stories.
