Megan Hipwell is bored with a life of staying at home while her husband, [character:YJrBCzL8EeaAugAeyeRIgw], works, she takes up a job as a nanny for [character:N96WZzL8EeaAugAeyeRIgw|Tom] and [character:J1POejL8EeaAugAeyeRIgw]. However, due to a past trauma of having lost a baby herself, she is uncomfortable being around babies, so this job does not last long.

She begins to seek therapy, while also begins an affair with Tom, which results in her getting pregnant. When her husband finds out, he strikes her and sends her away.

When revealing her condition to Tom, he demands she get an abortion, at which she balks due to her past trauma. Out of desperation, Tom strikes her with a rock, killing her.
