A secluded all-male Martian science outpost is interrupted by the an unexpected ship landing. Among the crew that departs are two women, a thin septuagenarian professor of gender studies and a corpulent woman whose excessive appetites are not limited to her hunger.

The scientists are told that in an effort to keep them sane, they are to be provided woman who will willingly attend to their baser needs. When discovering that said women are not forthcoming, but rather, are the two women before them, the men have a variety of reactions, including one who commandeers the ship to escape Mars, facing whatever penalties for mutiny rather than have to cohabitate with these women.
